Gradient of atmospheres on the Charles River in Boston

The sun setting on the Charles River in Boston sets the sky ablaze and marks the beginning of the end of the day.

Hazy periwinkles start creeping into the sky pushing away the last remnants of the sun.

Regal purples and soft pinks take the stage, marking the elegant arrival of the night on the Charles.

Night has finally arrived in full force, blanketing the once vibrant and colorful river in a dark eerieness.

But the river is never dead. The neon lights of the Hyatt in Cambridge flash in the blackness like an electric festival, lighting up the night.
